This Privacy Policy explains how Forward Alliance Ventures LLC, a New York limited liability company located at 418 Broadway #STE R, Albany, NY 12207 (“JustTrades,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the JustTrades.us website, applications, and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information — your email address, username, and authentication credentials.
• Simulated trading activity — the virtual orders, fills, positions, balances, challenge participation, and other activity you generate on the Service.
• Trade notes and other content — notes and any other content you submit. Do not include sensitive personal or confidential information in notes; notes may be visible to other users.
• Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or otherwise.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and log data — such as pages viewed, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and approximate activity patterns.
• Device and technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, and similar technical identifiers, used for security, debugging, and operating the Service.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

Market data

The Service displays market and other data obtained from third-party data providers, and your interactions with it are part of your usage data. Your use of market data is subject to the restrictions described in our Terms of Service.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and operate your account and provide the Service.
• To display your username and performance on public leaderboards.
• To make your activity available to instructors and allowed participants.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms and our data providers’ requirements, and debug and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about the Service, including service-related notices and support.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your personal information or your content to train or fine-tune artificial-intelligence models.

3. Public Visibility of Your Information

Some information is public or shared by design, depending on your choices and challenge settings:

• Public accounts and leaderboards. If your account or a challenge is public, your username and performance metrics may be shown on public leaderboards and may be found by other users.
• Challenge visibility. Within a challenge, your activity and notes may be visible to the instructor and other participants, and exported by the instructor.
• Your controls. Participation is voluntary, and you are responsible for what you disclose and should not share anything you do not wish to be visible to other users.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described here:

• Service providers. We use third parties to host and operate the Service, who process information on our behalf under agreements that limit their use of it. These include providers of hosting, database and authentication, application infrastructure, and content delivery and security.
• Data providers. We obtain market data from one or more third-party data providers. These providers supply data to us; we do not share your personal information with them for their own marketing. You acknowledge that data providers may fingerprint data to trace its distribution.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JustTrades, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

• We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
• You may request deletion of your account by contacting info@justtrades.us. On deletion, we will remove or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, subject to the exceptions below.
• Derived records. Your simulated trading records and other derived content that do not identify you, and that are not a substitute for and cannot be reverse engineered into a data provider’s underlying data, may be retained in de-identified or aggregated form for integrity, analytics, and historical purposes. We may also retain limited information where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact info@justtrades.us. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and database-level security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

If we become aware of a breach of security affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by applicable law, without undue delay.

8. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in countries with data-protection laws different from those of your own country.

9. Children’s Privacy

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to close the account and delete the information.

We source market data and operate execution, pricing, corporate-actions, charting, notifications, and other data-dependent functions through one or more third-party providers, and different functions may be served by different providers. We may add, remove, or substitute providers, and the categories of information we process and the processors that handle it may change accordingly; we will update this Policy to reflect material changes. Your personal information continues to be handled under this Policy, and your use of market data continues to be subject to the then-current providers’ terms as described in our Terms of Service.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
